Periodic Maintenance

Intervention before the fault occurs

The cost of maintenance is known and can be planned; the cost of a breakdown is unknown and always arrives at the worst possible moment. Periodic maintenance is the cheapest way to remove that uncertainty.

Periodic Maintenance

What maintenance covers

  • Inspection of the curtain / panel surface, seals and brush strips, with replacement where needed
  • Adjustment of tracks, rollers, springs and cable tension
  • Measurement of motor, gearbox and brake performance
  • Photocell, safety light curtain and emergency stop tests
  • Inspection of the control panel, limit settings and electrical connections
  • Lubrication and reporting of worn parts

How is the maintenance interval set?

The interval is set according to the number of daily cycles and the ambient conditions. Common practice is maintenance once a year for doors running under 50 cycles a day, every six months between 50 and 200 cycles, and every three months above 200 cycles. In dusty, humid or chemically aggressive environments the interval is shortened.

We keep records

At every visit we record in writing the work performed and the parts replaced. A recurring fault can usually be diagnosed within a few minutes once those records are consulted, and the same records also make your occupational safety audits easier.

HOW WE WORK

Four steps from request to handover

  1. 01

    Request

Reach us by phone, WhatsApp or the form, and we will route your request to the right team.

  2. 02

    Survey / diagnosis

For a new system we take the measurements; for an existing fault we diagnose it on site.

  3. 03

    Execution

Installation, maintenance or repair is carried out on the planned day and time, without stopping production.

  4. 04

    Check & handover

Safety devices are tested, user training is given and the area is handed over clean.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

About Periodic Maintenance

Do I have to sign a maintenance contract?

No, maintenance can also be requested as a one-off visit. We still recommend a regular plan, particularly for doors with a high daily cycle count, because it prevents unexpected downtime.

Is the door out of use during maintenance?

Maintenance normally takes 30–60 minutes per door. The door is out of service for that period, so we schedule the visit for the hours when traffic through the opening is at its lowest.

Do you maintain doors of other brands?

Yes. We provide periodic maintenance, genuine spare parts supply and fault repair for door and automation systems of any brand and model.
